For eligible players

Protected Plays give eligible players a safety net on one entry: if it loses, part of the entry fee comes back as bonus cash. They come from promos such as Freaky Friday, and yours show in the Promos tab.

How to claim

  1. Sign up

    Create your free Payday Fantasy account in seconds.

  2. Claim the promo

    Open the Promos tab to see the Protected Plays available to you, such as Freaky Friday. Build the qualifying entry it describes and apply the promo before you submit.

  3. Start playing

    Pick MORE or LESS on player stat lines. Winnings are paid instantly after approval.

How Protected Plays work

  • A Protected Play is one qualifying entry with a safety net.
  • If it loses, part of the entry fee comes back to you as bonus cash, up to the amount shown for that promo. If it wins, you're paid as normal.
  • Each Protected Play shows its own rules in the Promos tab: how much is protected, the entry type and number of picks it needs, and which wallet to use.
  • Apply the promo in your entry slip before you submit. It can't be added after.

Freaky Friday

Freaky Friday is one way to get a Protected Play. If it's available to you, opt in on Friday and place one MAX entry of 3 or more picks from your Main Wallet, then check “Use Freaky Friday Promo” before you submit. If that entry loses, up to $10 of the entry fee comes back as bonus cash.

Who can claim them

Protected Plays are for eligible players, so not every account sees the same offers. Who can play: US residents 18+ (19+ in Nebraska), physically located in an eligible state when entering paid contests. One per person, household, or device per promo.

What is the difference between MAX and Flex?
