Alt lines
Alt lines are extra lines on the same player, each with its own multiplier. Take a harder line for a bigger multiplier, or an easier one for a smaller one.See also: Line, Multiplier
Bonus cash
Bonus cash is promotional funds from Payday that you can use on MAX entries. It is kept separate from your Main Wallet, can't be withdrawn, has its own terms, and is applied only when you tap the Bonus Cash button in the entry slip.See also: Main Wallet, Freaky Friday
Boosted Picks
Boosted Picks are picks with a raised multiplier, in four tiers: Silver (up to 5%), Gold (up to 10%), Platinum (up to 15%) and Diamond (up to 20%).See also: Daily Drops, Multiplier
Cancellation window
The cancellation window is the 5 minutes after you submit an entry, during which you can cancel it, as long as no game in the entry has started. Each account can cancel up to 3 entries in total.See also: Entry
Copy
Copy means playing the same picks as a listed entry. It is also called tailing.See also: Fade, Remix, Marketplace
Creator
A creator is the player who listed an entry on the Marketplace. Creators earn a 5% commission, paid as bonus cash, on eligible engagement with their listings.See also: Listing, Marketplace
Daily Drops
Daily Drops are limited-time Boosted Picks. Each one can be used once, and quantities are limited.See also: Boosted Picks
Daily fantasy pick'em
Daily fantasy pick'em is a skill contest where you predict how named players will perform in real games. On Payday you pick More or Less against a posted stat line.See also: Player prop, Skill contest, Pick
Decks
Decks are head-to-head skill games against another Payday player, with identical conditions for both players; the higher score wins. There are free practice and paid matches.See also: Skill contest
Deposit
A deposit is money you add to your Main Wallet. The minimum is $5. Payday doesn't charge a fee to deposit or withdraw, though your bank or card issuer may. Deposits must be played through once before they can be withdrawn.See also: Main Wallet, First-deposit match
Eligibility
To be eligible you must be a US resident, 18 or older (19 in Nebraska), and physically located in an eligible state when you play. Payday operates in 23 states plus Washington DC, and you don't need to live in the state you play from.See also: Identity verification, Location check
Entry
An entry is a set of 2 to 10 picks submitted together, from $1. Picks must come from at least 2 different teams, each player can appear once, and you can mix sports. Also called a slip.See also: Pick, Entry fee, MAX, Flex
Entry fee
The entry fee is the amount you put into an entry. The minimum is $1.See also: Entry, Payout
Fade
Fade means playing the opposite of a listed entry: every leg is flipped, and it goes in as a new MAX entry.See also: Copy, Remix, Marketplace
First-deposit match
The first-deposit match is Payday matching 100% of your first deposit, up to $100, in bonus cash. One per person, household, or device. Terms apply.See also: Welcome bonus, Deposit
Flex
Flex is an entry type where you can miss exactly one pick and still win a reduced payout.See also: MAX, Entry
Freaky Friday
Freaky Friday is a Friday promotion for eligible players (check the Promos tab in the app to see if it's available to you): opt in on Friday and place one qualifying MAX entry of 3 or more picks from your Main Wallet. That entry is your Protected Play: if it loses, up to $10 of the entry fee comes back to you as bonus cash. One per person, household, or device. Terms apply.See also: Bonus cash
Identity verification
Identity verification is how Payday confirms who you are and how old you are before you can play for real money.See also: Eligibility, Location check
Injury Protection
Injury Protection is Payday's Voided Picks Policy for in-game injuries. If a player leaves a game injured in the first half (or the sport's opening period) and doesn't return, picks on stats they hadn't yet reached are voided and the entry is repriced, not lost. It covers full-game projections only. If fewer than two valid picks from two different teams remain, the whole entry is refunded.See also: Void / DNP
Instant payouts
Instant payouts means you are paid instantly after approval. Winnings are added to your balance as soon as an entry settles. Every withdrawal request is reviewed (KYC/AML) within 24 hours, often much faster, and requests submitted before 9am ET go out in that morning's main batch. Once approved, the transfer is instant; an instant bank transfer arrives within minutes.See also: Payout, Settle, Main Wallet
Leg
A leg is one pick inside an entry. A 4-pick entry has 4 legs.See also: Pick, Entry
Line
A line is the number a pick is judged against, for example 24.5 points. It is also called a projection.See also: More / Less, Alt lines, Live lines
Listing
A listing is a MAX entry of 3 or more picks shared to the Marketplace before its games start. Listings can't be delisted.See also: Marketplace, Creator
Live lines
Live lines are lines that update while the game is on. Pre-game and live picks can go in the same entry.See also: Pre-game lines, Line
Location check
A location check confirms you are physically in an eligible state when you enter a paid contest.See also: Eligibility, Identity verification
MAX
MAX is an entry type where every pick must hit to win.See also: Flex, Entry
Main Wallet
Your Main Wallet is your cash balance: what you deposit and what you win. Copy, Fade, Remix and Daily Drops use Main Wallet funds only.See also: Bonus cash, Deposit
Marketplace
The Marketplace is where players list their entries for others to act on. Every listing is a real call made by a real Payday player.See also: Listing, Copy, Fade, Remix
More / Less
More and Less are the two sides of every pick. More means the player finishes above the line, and Less means they finish below it.See also: Line, Pick
Multiplier
A multiplier is what your entry fee is multiplied by if the entry wins. Every pick carries its own multiplier, and together they set the entry multiplier, up to 100×.See also: Payout, Alt lines, Boosted Picks
Payday Boost
A Payday Boost is extra prize money Payday adds to a contest's prize pool.See also: Prize pool
Payout
A payout is what a winning entry pays. It is shown before you submit, includes your entry fee, and is capped at $10,000 per entry. Limits can vary by account.See also: Multiplier, Instant payouts
Pick
A pick is one call of More or Less on one player's line.See also: Entry, Leg, More / Less
Picks
Picks is the core Payday game: build an entry of 2 to 10 More or Less picks across 12 sports.See also: Entry, MAX, Flex
Player prop
A player prop is a single stat for a single player in a single game, such as points, rebounds, passing yards or kills. Every pick on Payday is built on one.See also: Line, Pick
Pre-game lines
Pre-game lines are lines posted before a game starts. They can be mixed with live picks in the same entry.See also: Live lines, Line
Prize pool
A prize pool is what a paid Survivor contest pays out. It is disclosed before entries open and never reduced.See also: Payday Boost, Survivor
Push
A push is when a player lands exactly on the line. In Survivor, a push counts as a loss.See also: Survivor, Line
Remix
Remix means starting from a listed entry and changing it into your own.See also: Copy, Fade, Marketplace
Settle
An entry settles when every game in it is final and it is graded as a win or a loss.See also: Payout, Instant payouts
Skill contest
A skill contest is a contest decided by your knowledge and decisions, not by chance. Daily fantasy on Payday is a skill contest.See also: Daily fantasy pick'em
Starter
A starter is the Survivor pick that counts toward staying alive. Round 1 has 2 starters and you advance if 1 hits; from Round 2 on there is 1 starter, and it must hit.See also: Sub, Survivor
Sub
A sub is a backup pick in Survivor that steps in if a starter is voided. Every round has 2 subs.See also: Starter, Void / DNP, Survivor
Support
Payday support is live help in the app, or by email at help@paydayfantasy.com.
Survivor
Survivor is a multi-round elimination contest on player props. Stay alive each round to move on; the last entry standing wins and ties split the prize. There are free and paid contests.See also: Starter, Sub, Push, Prize pool
Void / DNP
A void is a pick on a player who does not play (DNP). It is removed from the entry rather than counted as a miss.See also: Injury Protection, Sub
Welcome bonus
The welcome bonus is $5 in bonus cash when you sign up, no deposit required. It can be used on MAX entries only. One per person, household, or device. Terms apply.See also: First-deposit match, Bonus cash
