How the Payday Fantasy wallet works: deposits, bonus cash and payouts

Two balances, one set of rules. How deposits work, what bonus cash can and cannot do, the play-through requirement, and how fast withdrawals actually land.

Payday Fantasy · Product

Payday Fantasy holds your money in two separate balances. Your Main Wallet holds real money you have deposited or won, and it is the only balance you can withdraw. Your Bonus Wallet holds bonus cash from promotions, which enters contests but cannot be cashed out. Almost everything else about the wallet follows from that split.

Making a deposit

The minimum deposit is $5. You can deposit with a debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, a bank transfer (Pay by Bank or ACH) or Bitcoin and other crypto, and the payment method has to be in your own name and match your verified identity. Bank deposits through Pay by Bank support checking accounts only.

Payday charges no deposit fee (your bank or card issuer may charge its own fees). Deposits usually credit instantly, though funds can take one to three business days to fully clear depending on the method. You need to complete identity verification before any cashier feature opens up, including that first deposit.

What bonus cash can and cannot do

Bonus cash is a separate balance from real money. It can be used on MAX pick'em entries only — not FLEX entries and not Decks games — and it is applied only when you choose to use it, by tapping the Bonus Cash button in the entry slip. It cannot be withdrawn, and it does not expire while your account is active — though it is voided if you self-exclude or your account is closed.

It arrives from promotions, deposit bonuses, giveaways, free entry offers and Marketplace commissions. Two things run the other way: Daily Drops and Marketplace actions both require Main Wallet funds and cannot be paid for with bonus cash.

The play-through requirement

Deposits must be played through once before they can be withdrawn, and only entries placed from your Main Wallet count toward it. If you take a deposit bonus, the bonus is added to the requirement: deposit $100 and receive a $100 bonus, and the combined requirement is $200 in entries.

Two separate thresholds apply here and they are easy to mix up. For an entry to count toward play-through, it needs at least two picks at 1.4x or above. For an entry to use bonus cash at all, every pick in it needs to be 1.75x or higher.

Withdrawing

The minimum withdrawal is $10, in whole dollars, from your Main Wallet. You can make more than one withdrawal request, up to $1,000 in total in any rolling seven-day period.

Withdrawals are paid instantly after approval. Every withdrawal request is reviewed for identity and anti-money-laundering checks (KYC/AML) within 24 hours, and often much faster. Requests submitted before 9am ET go out in that morning's main batch; after 9am, requests are processed in the order received. Once approved, the transfer to you is instant, and arrival depends on the method: instant bank transfer in minutes, debit card about 30 minutes, ACH 1–2 business days. Payday charges no withdrawal fee on any method (your bank or card issuer may charge its own fees), and credit cards cannot be used for payouts.

A withdrawal is not finished until you choose a payout method and confirm it in the cashier. An approved request stays active for up to five days.

Why verification comes first

Identity verification is a legal requirement rather than a Payday preference, which is why the cashier stays locked until it is done. Withdrawals also have to go to an account in the same name as your verified account.
